Real Victors is a community of people who love basketball. These guidelines exist so every game stays fun, safe, and fair. They apply to everything you do on Real Victors: games you join or host, chat messages, ratings and reviews, photos you upload, and how you treat other players.
If you RSVP, you commit. Plans change. Cancel as early as you can so the spot frees up for the next player. Repeated no-shows hurt the community and we may suspend accounts that consistently flake on hosts.
Hosts pay for courts, build the lineup, and put their reputation on the line. Follow their stated rules on skill level, payment, and game format. If you have a problem with a host, raise it respectfully, not in chat with everyone watching.
Advanced players hopping into beginner runs ruins the game for everyone. Pick games at your level. If a host says 'beginner-friendly', they mean it. Let your level grow naturally through actual games.
If a host charges a fee for a paid game, pay it on time and in full. If you can't make a game you paid for, work it out with the host. Don't game the system with chargebacks for games you actually attended.
Compete. But no dirty fouls, no trash talk that crosses the line, no fights. We're here to hoop, not to brawl. Step away from heated moments and come back ready to play.
Real Victors is for hoopers of every gender, age, race, religion, and background. Discrimination, harassment, and slurs get you removed permanently. Doxxing, threats, and stalking get the same treatment plus a referral to local authorities where appropriate.
The W/L/D system only works if everyone reports the actual score. Don't cook the books to inflate your record. Hosts have the final say on disputed results.
When you rate or review a host, a venue, or a fellow player, base it on the actual game. Don't trade reviews for favours. Don't fabricate reviews to punish someone who beat you. Honest reviews are how the community builds trust.
Trash in the bin. Lights off. Nets up. Be the kind of player you'd want to share a court with. If you book a venue, leave it the way you'd want to find it.
In-app chat is for coordinating games, not for spam, ads, scams, or harassment. Don't post links you wouldn't show your mom. Don't impersonate other users or pretend to be Real Victors staff.
If a player or host breaks these rules, report them. You can use the in-app report button on a player's profile or on a specific game (once that feature ships), or email hello@realvictors.com with the player's username, the date, and what happened.
We read every report and respond within a few business days. Depending on severity we may issue a warning, restrict features (no hosting, no chat, no joining paid games), suspend the account, or remove it permanently. For illegal behaviour we may also report to local authorities.
Real Victors is for adults aged 18 and over only. The Service is not designed for or directed at minors. If you are under 18, please do not download or use Real Victors. See our Terms of Service for the full eligibility rules.
Real Victors reserves the right to remove any content, restrict any feature, or suspend or permanently terminate any account for violations of these guidelines or our Terms of Service, at our sole discretion. We don't owe an explanation for every decision, but we will try to be fair and consistent.
